Specifically designed for Fronius Tauro and Tauro ECO inverters, it meets all relevant DC protection standards according to IEC 61643-31 and DIN EN 50539-11. It offers safety against both direct and indirect lightning effects and ensures maximum operational reliability. This option must be ordered together with the inverter, as it is factory-installed.

The surge protection module is integrated directly into the inverter’s DC connection area during production. A mechanical fault indicator (red) provides clear visual feedback, while the integrated remote signaling allows easy status monitoring via the system network. The factory installation guarantees optimal protection for multistring systems with up to two MPP trackers and full compliance with DIN VDE 0100-712 standards.
