FENECON Home 15 kW AVU 63 A – Automatic Load Transfer Switch

  • Automatic switching between grid and backup power
  • Up to 15 kW backup power output
  • 63 A grid connection for high household loads
  • Three-phase supply during backup operation
  • Manual switching option available
  • Optimized for FENECON Home energy storage systems

The FENECON Home AVU 63 A expands the FENECON Home energy storage system with an automatic load transfer function between grid supply and backup power. In the event of a grid outage, the system automatically switches the household loads to the inverter’s backup output.

Operation & Integration

The AVU (Automatic Load Transfer Switch) ensures reliable and independent switching of the entire household load between grid supply and backup operation. In addition to the automatic mode, manual switching is also possible. In grid-parallel operation, loads of up to 63 A (approx. 43 kW) can be supplied, while the backup system provides up to 15 kW of emergency power.

Technical Details

The AVU is designed for indoor installation and supports three-phase AC grids with 400 V and 50–60 Hz frequency. Switching between grid and backup operation occurs automatically in approximately three seconds. The unit features protection class I, a maximum grid current of 63 A and a backup power rating of up to 15 kVA.

Manufacturer

FENECON develops modular energy storage systems for residential, commercial and industrial applications and uses open energy management solutions based on the OpenEMS platform.
