Mounting systems for photovoltaic systems

SOL-50 is a lay-in system in which the solar modules are mounted stress-free and floating-mounted. This reduces the risk of glass breakage and microcracks and ensures a uniform, homogeneous module field. With SOL-50 modules up to 50 mm frame height can be installed securely. Installers benefit from a durable, aesthetic and at the same time economical solution that can be used in all wind and snow load zones.

SOL-50 variants at a glance:

• Tile roof – conventional mounting with robust roof hooks for common tile types
• Beaver-tail tile roofs – use of the same roof hook as for tile roofs, supplemented by a dummy flashing for beaver-tail tiles
• Slate roofs – fastening via solar fasteners (lag-screw principle) that are screwed directly into the purlin (timber or steel); in combination with shingle dummies (solar flashing) for sealing and integration
• Trapezoidal sheet – optional direct-mount or cross-rail mounting, depending on structural requirements
• Corrugated profile & Eternit – mounting via special adapter solutions
• In-roof system – elegant integration of the modules directly into the roof surface
• Flat roof – aerodynamic, ballasted systems without roof penetration
• Standing seam – fastening with stainless steel or aluminum clamps, without roof penetration
• Kalzip – mounting with Kalzip clamps or beam claws
• Carport & façade – flexible systems for special applications and building-integrated PV
