The enwitec BAT BREAKER is a reliable high-voltage protection unit for BYD Premium HVM and HVB energy storage systems in combination with a Fronius VERTO Plus battery charger. It ensures safe operation by protecting battery circuits and chargers against overloads and short circuits in DC systems.
Features & Installation Notes
The BAT BREAKER supports up to three parallel battery strings and one charger, operating at a rated voltage of 1000 VDC and a switching capacity up to 10 kA. Integrated circuit breakers with K-type tripping characteristics are designed for continuous operation at 50 A. The durable fiberglass-reinforced polyester housing (GFRP) provides IP30 protection and is intended for wall mounting. Installation is simplified with spring-clamp terminals supporting 0.5–25 mm² conductors and eight pre-fitted M20 cable glands.
