The enwitec POWER Backup 63 Symo IP is the central switching and safety component for Fronius Symo Hybrid and Symo GEN24 Plus inverter systems. It enables automatic switching between grid and backup operation, ensuring high reliability during power outages. With a rated voltage of 3PH 230/400 V and a power capacity of 20 kW, it is suitable for both residential and commercial PV installations.
Features & Installation Notes
The switch box offers all-pole or three-pole disconnection, configured via included jumpers. It supports TN-C/S, TN-S and TT network types, with TN-C not permitted within the customer installation. The integrated Fronius Smart Meter IP provides accurate system measurement and monitoring.
Installation is simplified with pre-mounted M20–M40 cable glands and clearly labeled terminals for grid, load and backup. The polycarbonate housing (IP30) is designed for indoor wall mounting and requires at least 200 mm of clearance on all sides.
