The FENECON FEMS Package 3-Phase Sensor 65 A (KDK 4PU) is a modular energy meter for precise measurement of active and reactive power in three-phase electrical networks. With a direct connection capability of up to 65 A, it is ideal for PV and battery storage systems within the FENECON ecosystem. The integrated RS485 Modbus interface enables communication with the FENECON Energy Management System (FEMS), allowing real-time monitoring and control of energy flows.
Features & Installation Notes
The KDK 4PU features Push-in CAGE CLAMP® terminals, allowing tool-free installation for conductors up to 25 mm². Its compact design (72 mm width, 140 mm height with cover, 63 mm depth) makes it suitable for space-saving DIN rail mounting.
Power supply is provided directly through the three phases (L1, L2, L3) and the neutral line. Using the Modbus RTU (RS485) protocol, the sensor supports communication with up to 32 devices over a bus length of up to 1,200 meters. Recommended communication parameters are 9,600 baud rate and “None” parity.
The sensor can be installed on generators (e.g. inverters), utility meters, or consumers. Integration with FENECON Home 10, 20 & 30 and Commercial 30/50 systems is achieved through preconfigured EMS/FEMS interfaces. A key feature is the integrated Bluetooth® Low Energy 4.2 interface, allowing configuration and data reading via the “KDK Meter Configurator” app for Android and iOS devices. This enables quick parameter setup, data retrieval, and firmware updates via smartphone.
