The FENECON heating element 3 kW / 6 kW is an electric auxiliary heater for efficient domestic hot water heating in PV-connected energy systems. It is designed for use in closed or open enamelled tanks and is ideal for utilizing excess solar power. With its three-phase connection, the heating element allows flexible power control to optimize self-consumption and increase the efficiency of FENECON Home and Commercial systems.
Features & Installation Notes
The heating element is available in 3 kW (0 / 1 kW per phase) and 6 kW (0 / 2 kW per phase) versions, operating at a 3-phase ~ 230 V supply. Horizontal installation with a 1.5-inch socket allows quick and standard-compliant mounting. Immersion depth is 39 cm (3 kW) or 56 cm (6 kW). Use a minimum 2.5 mm² cable type H05VV-F for connection. The heating element is suitable for tanks of at least 160 liters and can be controlled via the FEMS Relay Board 8-channel TCP or directly via free relay contacts of the FENECON system.
Thanks to its solid design and straightforward wiring, integration is particularly low-maintenance. For safe operation, follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions (Alpha Thermotec).
