The KOSTAL Energy Meter Series C is a precise and versatile power metering device for reliable measurement of active, reactive, and apparent power in PV systems. With a wide operating voltage range, high measurement accuracy according to EN 62053-21/-23, and a robust PBT and polycarbonate housing, it is suited for worldwide use. Its compact design, easy DIN rail mounting, and flexible communication interfaces enable straightforward integration into systems with KOSTAL inverters.
With its expanded range of applications, the KEM is now the ideal and future-proof solution for many typical residential systems built around the PLENTICORE G3 – with or without battery storage, and in combination with the ENECTOR G2 wallbox. It stands out for its straightforward installation and commissioning, reliable operation, and an attractive price-performance ratio compared to the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter (KSEM). The KSEM remains available and is particularly recommended for special system configurations with more advanced functional requirements.
