The KOSTAL Energy Meter Series P is a robust and precise power metering device for reliable measurement of active and reactive energy in PV systems. Thanks to passive, opto-isolated measurement inputs, high dielectric strength, and an IP20 protection rating, it is ideally suited for continuous use in demanding environments, enabling efficient energy monitoring in combination with KOSTAL inverters.
With its expanded range of applications, the KEM is now the ideal and future-proof solution for many typical residential systems built around the PLENTICORE G3 – with or without battery storage, and in combination with the ENECTOR G2 wallbox. It stands out for its straightforward installation and commissioning, reliable operation, and an attractive price-performance ratio compared to the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter (KSEM). The KSEM remains available and is particularly recommended for special system configurations with more advanced functional requirements.
