When connected to the SolarEdge Control & Communication Gateway, it enables detailed system performance analysis and serves as a key component for calculating the Performance Ratio (PR). Continuous irradiance data collection helps operators compare actual output with expected production, ensuring optimal system efficiency and early fault detection.
Features & Installation Notes
The sensor measures in the range of 0 to 1500 W/m² and provides an analog output signal of 0–1.5 V. Its durable, weather-resistant aluminum housing with IP65 protection ensures reliable operation in temperatures between –35 °C and +80 °C. The SE1000-SEN-IRR-S1 connects directly to the SolarEdge Gateway and can be easily mounted on the module frame or racking structure.
