The SolarEdge RS485 Module SE1000-RS485-IF extends the communication capabilities of SolarEdge inverters, enabling stable RS485 bus connections over long distances. Designed for multi-inverter and commercial PV systems, it supports daisy-chain topology with up to 31 slave inverters per bus and up to 16 interconnected bus lines – ideal for large-scale installations and monitoring applications.
Features & Installation Notes
The compact 33 × 25 mm module is mounted directly inside the inverter housing, providing excellent environmental protection. Its plug-in design allows for fast and simple installation. The SE1000-RS485-IF supports cable lengths up to 1000 m and can interface with smart energy management devices, batteries, or energy meters. A wide operating temperature range from –40 °C to +85 °C ensures reliable performance in demanding environments.
