The SolarEdge S500B has been specifically designed for residential PV systems, combining high energy yield with advanced safety features. In standby mode, the power optimizer automatically reduces the module voltage to a safe level and complies with the requirements of VDE-AR-E 2100-712. Integrated Sense Connect technology detects thermal abnormalities at PV connectors at an early stage, helping to minimize potential safety risks (depending on inverter model and firmware version).
