The Stäubli MC4-Evo ready connector set consists of a male (PV-KST4-EVO READY) and a female (PV-KBT4-EVO READY) cable coupler. The connectors ensure a reliable and standards-compliant connection of photovoltaic cables in DC systems. Thanks to the integrated spring clamp technology, installation is tool-free and significantly faster – without the need for crimping.
Features & Installation Notes
The MC4-Evo ready connectors are designed for conductor cross-sections of 4–6 mm² and cable diameters of 5.4–7.6 mm. They offer high contact reliability with very low contact resistance and are specifically developed for long-term use in PV systems. The IP65/IP68 protection rating (when mated) ensures reliable resistance against moisture and dust. Installation is performed by simply inserting and locking the cable, reducing installation errors.
